Volunteer opportunities are one time or ongoing.
Work with Youth: Folks can drop in on one of our regular groups to see where they can help, lead a one-time activity, or create their own on-going club.
Become an Expert: Volunteers can become an expert of one or all of our equipment (3D printer, laser cutter, computer program, etc.). Volunteers learn how to use and maintain their item of interest. When they are ready the volunteer can teach a lesson to the public to expand STEM knowledge in our community!
OR volunteer make the space better! See something that can be improved in our space (website, marketing material, etc.)? Suggest an improvement and make a plan.
OR tackle simple tasks like cleaning and organizing!

Cache Makers runs on the energy of its volunteers and the donations of those who support our cause. Current pricing encourages commitment and prevents our volunteers from becoming free babysitters for others’ kids, but it would only cover 30% of our normal group costs if we were self-sustaining at capacity, not to mention things like our 75% discounts for those qualifying for free and reduced lunch, Saturday open hours, as well as the free community outreach we provide to libraries, schools, churches, and community centers.
All the ways you can pledge your support:
Write a Letter to the Cache County Council
Suggest a Business that may fund STEM education
Lead A Group
Lead A Saturday Activity
Support A Group
Take Care of the Space
Make a "How To..." Video
Tell Your Friends About Cache Makers

This club was started by parents who cared about opportunities for their children to learn and grow. Volunteers continue to be the heart of our club as group leaders, mentors, and parents. These folks deserve a round of applause, because none of this would be here without them.

“I am a part of Cache makers because a high school teacher saw my potential in what I am already doing within a hopeful career path... I also became apart of Cache Makers because I love to see that the people involved are very passionate about sharing skills with others, I want to share what I know about technology and art with others so that they can pursue their passion with energy and motivation.” 4-H Cache Makers STEM Ambassador (Nathon Taylor)
